Twilight- Stephenie Meyer- OCTOBER

Significance- I think that this work is really important because it is really good writing. I really enjoyed this book and it was really special and sweet. I think this author is trying to say that everyone meets his or her prince or princess charming someday. True love is really special. You might find it around the corner, and you might find it after many tries. I think it was also teaching you the phrase "If life gives you lemons, make lemonade." because the main character Bella has her mom get married, and she makes lemonade out of that by moving in with her dad in Forks, but then she meets Edward, a vampire who she falls in love with, so she's made her sweet lemonade. I think that this story was purely a love story, but still teaching us that sometimes we have to make sacrifices for love. This story was inspired by a dream the writer had one night, and she built everything off of her dream. What a wonderful dream...

Perspective- The writer, Stephenie Meyer, sees everything differently than I do, because to her, this was all just some crazy dream that she remembers, and to us, it's like a whole different world. I think if I was talking to lets say, a third grader about this book, and describing it to them, I think they would be really confused, and be asking a lot of questions. In my eyes, it's just a book, but I think if I was in third grade, all I would be asking was how. The big question would be how. How does she fall in love with vampire, how does he not eat her? In my mind, I wouldn't know how to answer those, because I hadn't asked myself those questions.

Evidence- I think that the argument the author is trying to make is that immortality isn't all you should want in life. Life should be about making every day special, and having fun. Just enjoy your life, and relax. The vampires in this book who have immortality, they aren't happy with it. They're just trying to make each day as good as the last, maybe learn, maybe work, just do what you want to do, as long as your having fun.

ConnectionThis story connects to a movie I saw recently called the little vampire. It was also about a vampire who made friends with a human. In both of the stories it's vampires making an effort to be the nice guy in the scenario. They also both befriend humans who understand them. They both have really strong connections with the human. These stories are very closely linked. These stories have really made me appreciate vampires in a new way. This piece really makes me inspired to read other books in the future, and really look at every book I read or choose to read. Size isn't a matter anymore, and I am challenged to read long books now.

Supposition- I would have changed this story by describing the characters more. This book did a really poor job of describing the characters. I have no idea what Bella looks like, and they don't have many descriptions of the other characters. It would really help the story line a lot. I think if you didn't have Edward be a vampire, then the story would be really bad. It would just be some boring romance. I'm really glad the Edward is a vampire, and Bella's a human.
