Eclipse- Stephenie Meyer- NOVEMBER

Significance- I think in this book significance is a main part. This piece of work is very important because it really shows the battle between friends that you can have, and the problems that can come up. In this book, the main character, Bella, has a boyfriend who's a vampire, and her best friend is a werewolf. They are natural enemies, so her boyfriend Edward hates her best friend Jake. This certain problem probably wouldn't come up in real life, because they are using make-believe characters, but I have definitely been in a situation where I have two best friend who hate each other, and I've also been in situations where I don't like the other friend. This story definitely relates to real life.

Perspective- This book was written by Stephenie Meyer. It was written in Bella's point of view, but they're actually making another book in Edward's point of view, so that's going to be interesting. This book was written in modern times, but since Edward never gets older, he talks in olden day talk sometimes, and he acts like he's living in the olden days. I think the fact that the author is a woman also helped this book a lot, because if it was from a guys point of view it would be very different, becuase boys see the world very differently, and they don't really know how the worl d would look like from a woman's point of view.

Evidence- I think that the argument the author is trying to make is that everybody finds their true love, even if it takes you hundreds of years (in Edward's case). I think she's also trying to make the point that a lot of people will, in fact risk their life for you, and/or try to save you.

Connection- I think every day someone is fighting for someone else's life, or trying to help their friend. This book is very realistic, and it's a reality book. All of these instances can happen any time.I think this whole series is mainly based on this book, because his is the main book where all the fights happen, and Bella convinces Edward to turn her in to a vampire.

Supposition- I think this book would change a lot if Jacob (Jake) wasn't in it because he make s the whole story interesting because of all the fighting between him and Edward. It just makes a good book. I think also if they took out Victoria, the vampire who's hunting her, it would also be a completely different story, because then Jake wouldn't have to help her, and then the book wouldn't be a strong. If this story took place in the 1800's, everything would be very different, because Edward probably wouldn't be able to see Bella at all, and neither would Jake. They would probably all get shunned, and they'd also probably try to get kill Jake and Edward, becuase of what they are. We are a lot more aaccpeting now, and everything's better.
